Vehicle Wrap Advertising is not only about advertising.
 

Most people are surprised at how much car wraps can change the appearance of an older car, truck, van or even an entire fleet of vehicles. We hear comments like:

"I thought those van wraps were on brand new vans until you opened the door."

Or (after putting some truck wraps on a new truck and one very rough 6 year old car)

"There's not a nickels worth of difference between the two."

This statement made by a top industry professional who teaches vinyl vehicle wrap installation.

In Terms of marketing value that last statement could not be truer. Many times an older vehicle is replaced not because of mechanical but cosmetic reasons. It simply looks to bad to be seen with the company name on it.

Most of our fleet customers have both high mileage and low mileage vehicles wrapped. They use the higher mileage vehicles for commercial work, where it's not the end of the world if they break down. They use the low mileage vehicles for service or retail work.
 

One of our fleet customers use high reach bucket trucks, big ticket items which can be bought used for a fraction of the cost. They do work for government agencies that expect and demand a professional appearance; you can't show up with beat up looking equipment. After installing a new bucket, some black paint on the bottom, minor body work and a vinyl vehicle wrap they received nothing praise from their clients. While on the job site this company now "has a presence" not just another man working in a bucket truck.
 

Here is another example of using vehicle wrap advertising to save money. These puppies don't come cheap and the extra taxes on a new unit are staggering. The older body style of this truck just doesn't cut it anymore. After wrapping this wrecker has a better appearance than a new truck.

Knowing when to draw the line

There is a limit on what can or should be done with vinyl vehicle wraps. I loved my old 92 suburban which is now two body styles old and would not look right in anything but a camouflage wrap. We want our vehicle wrap advertising to stand out not blend in.
 

Put a box truck wrap on an old U-Haul truck and it will look like you put a box truck wrap on an old U-Haul truck. This isn't the worst thing to do if it's your only option but you're not going to fool anyone.

A: This is one of the least asked but one of the most important questions
    We use “Full Hard Solvent” Triangle™ ink
    Not Solvent
    Not Light Solvent
    Not Eco Solvent
    Not Almost Full Solvent
    This gives the longest durability (fade resistance). Don’t let anyone tell you differently.
Q: How long does it take?
A: Design time usually takes between 4 & 14 days, depending on complexity and changes. After approval of the layout, the wrap is usually Installed within 7 days. We usually need your Vehicle in our shop for 3 to 5 days..

Q: I want a wrap but I don’t know what to put on it!
A: Our Wrap Experienced Designers will create for you a Professional - Attention Getting - Effective design.  Most of our customers use our designs in their other forms of advertising (signs, web site, brochures, etc.).
Q: How much input should I give you in the design process?
A: We have been in the outdoor advertising business for over 25 years and we have over 75 years combined design experience (Let us do what were good at). But you are the boss, we are here to help you achive the company image you want.

Q: How long will the wrap last?
A: With proper care your wrap will last (and still look good) for 5-7 years.
Q: Can the wrap be removed later?
A: Yes, the 3M® material/laminate that we use does no damage and actually protects the original factory paint job, "freezing-the-paint in time".
Q: Is removing the wrap difficult?
A: Not with the proper tools and know how that comes from removing them. Most of our wrap removals are completed in 1 day, leaving behind your frozen-in-time factory paint job.

Q: Can I pressure wash my wrap?
A: No, improper use of a pressure washer or even some car washes can damage your wrap, it is just not worth the risk. So you should hand wash with pride.
Q: Does the vehicle color matter?
A: Not on full wrap. In fact, many of our customers save time & moneywhen purchasing their vehicles because they don't have to worry about matching colors. Their fleets still come out looking the same.

On a lot of commercial vans we block out the rear windows, preventing others from peeping inside.
While you should still keep a wrap clean, they will still appear cleaner then solid color vehicles. Often times you will not even notice that they need to be cleaned.

            What you see is what you get. We will E-mail you a layout and you can come in and see what your vehicle will look like before we wrap it. 
            After approval of the layout, the wrap is usually Installed within 7 days. We usually need your Vehicle in our shop for 3 to 5 days:

• First, we clean your vehicles
• Then, we Install your car wraps
• Then, we let your vehicle wraps go through a temperature cycle
• Then, we perform a thorough inspection of your car wraps.

Some or our compettitors state they can do van wraps in 8 hours. We Pledge NOT to get your wrap done in under 8 hours!!!!
It takes us 8 hours just to clean and prepare a van for the vehicle wrap installation.

With proper care your car wrap will last (and still look good) for 5-7 years.
